CRA Announces 2025 NETFILE Opening Date for Free Online Tax Filing

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) will open its NETFILE and ReFILE services on February 24, 2025, allowing eligible taxpayers to file personal income tax and benefit returns online. This free, secure platform aims to simplify filing, speed up refunds, and reduce paperwork.

What is NETFILE?NETFILE is an electronic service enabling Canadians to submit tax returns through certified software, eliminating paper forms and postal mail.
